One of the few shots I got with the Yashica Mat 124. It turned out to have a problem with the shutter, which I didn't find out until after I ran a roll or two through it.
I took it to a little camera shop in downtown Oakland for my friend deadslow. I'll pick it up in a few weeks (and still hopefully get to borrow it then!), and he and I will go on a photo walk.
Catherine brought these to our brunch a few weeks ago.

Every year I treat myself to Brunch at the Explorer!
So first up Smoked Fish, French Toast, Sausage, Bacon, Eggs Florentine!
Grey Heron / Graureiher (Ardea cinerea)

I can't tell what the prey fish is here - at first I thought it was a baby catfish, but it looks to me more like a huge tadpole! I couldn't find a resident frog large enough for that to be the case though.

Lukas and i found a new place to have brunch in our neighborhood. It was French, and our waiter was typical and too pretentious to bring the silverware.
For a friends birthday, that night, i also ate french food. In a different borough served by a nicer Haitian woman, this time.
I ate red velvet cake.
I went to a bar, were i gave someone the finger, because his glasses deserved it. And where i was reminded why i dont go to bars.
I got a free ride home from a friend from my job at Bumble, and fell asleep smelling of cigarettes i didn't get to smoke, while watching Oldboy.
Poached egg on an English muffin with pepper Jack cheese, Canadian Bacon, and avocado. Topped with red bell pepper, cilantro, lemon pepper, and Tajin seasonings. English muffin with butter and cherry preserves and a side of fresh mango. Bon appetite!
I am feeling sorry for myself today as I have a stinking cold! Rang work and stayed home, as I couldn't eat anything for breakfast, I treated myself to comfort food for brunch and had a couple of soft boiled eggs and toast...
I created a feast for brunch today while I was watching some food photography on Creative LIVE and it was delicious.
