This bird was sitting on a red light on top of a building and the distance was about 15ft. I had the same lighting condition and used the same 2x teleconverter to take this picture. More to come, watch my page!

Yellow-browed Warbler

Red-browed finches, well, as finches, might be expected to be seed eaters. There are seeds up here in this Casuarina cunninghamiana. Cockatoos can access them. But finch beaks aren't made for cracking these "cones".

Instead it seems like they are gleaning small invertebrates from among the foliage. This is a mystery and a different behaviour from that usually observed.

The addition of the brow made so much difference to the "face", it was unbelievable. It was a last minute attachment, made from MDF, and I'm glad I went with it, because it really helped give Tommy character.

Original hangar doors -- doors followed four tracks on each side. The total of 8 doors span 128 feet and are 18 feet high.
