While at Pooginook CP I was surrounded for several minutes by a noisy, very active family group of White-browed Babblers, giving me the opportunity to take many good shots. I was hoping to come across the Chestnut-crowned Babbler; maybe next time.
This fellow was so close that the shot has barely been cropped. Very overcast day and used a flash to give a bit of a lift to the shot.

The White-browed Wagtail is the largest species of wagtail at 21 cm length. It is a slender bird, with the characteristic long, constantly wagging tail of its genus. It has black upperparts, head and breast, with a white supercilium and large white wingbar. Usually seen in pairs or small groups near open water. They call often especially in the mornings and are active like most other wagtails. They will perch on the ground as well as on wires or on buildings. The song is long and loud with many different notes. Like other wagtails, this species is insectivorous.

Love that swathe of red across the brow like an artist's brush-stroke.
Again, I won't speculate on food preferences but I didn't get the feeling it was nectar here. :)
