A quarry of sorts. I'm not sure what this place is (was), but it's no longer in occupance by anybody. Resembles a lot for purchasable dirt and mulch piles, who knows and who cares.

The lid of the brooder is in two parts, so I can get into one side or another. The wire is stapled down really well to prevent racoons or other critters from getting in.
It's chilly at night out in the barn and the chicks are only 3 weeks old so I still need a heat lamp on them.

I recently spent the weekend in a holiday rental place in Forster. I thought this chair was pretty cool and I liked the way it looked against the floor boards... but when sorting through my images from the weekend, I thought of this Stewie Griffin quote from The Family Guy and laughed!
I guess it's true, I am obviously so brooding and deep!
Purposefully shot dark, using a flash to capture highlights.
I like the little patch of sky in the top left; I think it adds a bit of brightness to this otherwise dark and brooding scene.
How do we tackle this Fame thing ?
