Keepsake is a female Golden Retriever DOB 8/172013

My wife and I found this little gem almost by accident on a little cruise from Phila to Lancaster across the backroads of southern Delaware, Chester and finally Lancaster Counties. Going on pure instinct for where the old "wagon" roads used to go and following roads named "Hollow" "Mill" and "Valley", we finally stumbled opon this not-quite-so-old abandonment.

At the open garden there was a section were a group of Geese were being kept. They were wandering round this section & didn't seem too impressed to see visitors.

Despite their rather aggressive attitude I managed to get several photos of them. I did have the slight background fear of receiving a peck while I was there though.

This brood of gadwall has moved to the safety of a wetland. Wetlands like this provide food such as seeds, plants, and insects for the growing ducklings.

Black widow (you can't see them in this picture but she has two dots on her abdomen) being kept at the company I work for, Tree Frog Treks. I've fed her a few times over the past week and she swelled up to a huge size. This morning her egg case appeared and she was back to normal size. Awesome animal.
