This column marks the battlefield where 18000 Canadians on the British left withstood the first German gas attacks the 22-24 April 1915, 2000 fell and lie buried nearby.
Most of the garage is occupied with bird stuff right now. Feed here, birds there, eggs waiting for incubation over there. Might be one or two in the freezers too.
This is the bottom brood box on our hive, we had to comb through each frame looking for the queen. She's always been in one of the 4 frames from the left on all of our previous hive inspections. This time however, she was in the top brood box.

She has glamourous hair. The colour though isn't coming out as well in pics.
It's teal with a greenish tint in the pics.
In real life though, there's a fluorescent green that hasn't really been picked up in many pics of Princess a la Mode.
