This is an old vignette I built some months ago. It was my first real attempt at a vignette with any scenery worth mentioning.

It's the end of a 17 year cycle here in NJ where the Brood II Cicadas are beginning to emerge from the ground. This one has only just shed it's shell which hangs behind it on the plant. Shot with my trusty HTC EVO and processed in Snapseed.

Brown speckled cowbird eggs in what I think is a chipping sparrows nest. The smaller eggs were actually bluish.
A lot easier having kids when you don't have to raise them.
