I took Athos out on Saturday, and when reached for her, I took out her legs. I was in shock.
Now thinking back, I recall Blythe peeps saying petites tend to shatter at the pelvis.
I have taken the two largest pieces and glued them back. I threw away the small bits. She can now move, but she's never going to leave the house again. Poor Athos... :(
An unfortunate fall caused this broken magazine. The plastic on this cheapsoft D-Boyi Hi-Cap is a little flimsy - but I reckon I can repair it.
Broken window panes are a standard feature on the buildings at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, as is the incredible amount of wild plant growth. Sheets of plexiglass and plywood were put up here and there, but mostly on the ground floor windows. Even preventing this sort of vandalism seems a daunting task on a campus that contains 33 or so buildings, most of which are monstrously huge.
This is a photo of a bunch of roses on the beach that have been thrown away and discarded.

It's only been about 2 weeks since I put these new strings on my classical guitar and the D string broke. I don't play it that much, so it definitely didn't break because I've been playing the guitar hard.
Our trip to Norway ended with a ride home in an AA Relay truck!
We flew back in to Bristol Airport (no fog this time!) and stayed at the same motel one more night. The car was fine when we drove down the road to the Fox and Goose for dinner. The following morning, just as we set off, the front suspension collapsed!
Broken coil spring. The AA came out very promptly, and organized a tow all the way back to the garage in Walberton.
It could have been worse ... it could have happened on the way to Bristol, before the holiday.
