love these blue litte ones.

Sunset brings out the colors and textures in the landscape, seen from the White River Valley overlook in Badlands National Park. The formation in front of us is known as the Castle.

Frankly, I have seen better sunsets and better images from Badlands. I'll be honest that I mostly want to put one more distinct pin on the map of my pictures created by the Map Group. I like it as a way to keep track of my travels.

Bringing this Mockingbird into focus took some doing, but I like the way it came out. I wrestled with leaving the silhouette as is, until I saw what it looked like with some detail and a texture. I liked the mood.

This old puppy is loaded with an abundance of fall Harvest - good thing they call them winter vegetables because winter isn't far off!

"Once there was a thing called spring,

when the world was writing verses like yours and mine."

This souvenir was taken at an amazing sim called "Golden Hair" last year right when spring was slowly ending ♥

Now it's time to bring back that beautiful memory, a picture taken in the spur of the moment !

For those who like puffins: Lundey, a small island near Húsavík, is called puffin island. We made a boat trip and watched thousands of these lovely sea birds.

This was one of two otters working the lake yesterday. They both were having much success in catching fish - but after the catch, this one came toward shore right at me. Didn't share, though!

That though the radiance which was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower. We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind.

Not much in life beats playing fetch with a puppy!

Hi Flickr friends! It's late here so will catch up with everyone tomorrow:) This was taken at an ocean baths (pool). These rays only appeared for a few seconds so I had to be quick!

Father Bluebird brought his baby into my backyard for breakfast. Baby got plenty to eat and I got a heartwarming view. It was a good day.

The Western Bluebird:

Male Western Bluebirds are shiny blue above with rust-orange extending from a vest on the breast onto the upper back. Females are gray-buff with a pale orange wash on the breast and blue tints to the wings and tail. The throat is blue in males and gray-buff in females, and the lower belly is whitish.

Bluebirds are highly social, and usually feed in flocks during the non-breeding season. They hunt for terrestrial insects by dropping to the ground from a low perch. Western Bluebirds also frequently feed on berries in trees. Western Bluebirds rely on trees both for nesting cavities and hunting perches, and also perch on fences and utility lines.

Autumn also brings a lot of changes to the birds, and very noticeable is the one on the finches that completely lose their bright yellow plumage to a mix of very dull green-yellowish that makes us to take a second look.

Right now here in PA the rain has started and many trees have lost their leaves, but they still have a unique charm specially at the end of a sunny day. The wind has move from place to place tons of leaves that are forming colorful skirts which now makes it difficult to know from which tree were originally from.

This image had only a white background so I decided to merge a second one with autumn leaves.

Perfect for the autumn mood...

Photography is one of my passions, and nature photography is my favorite.

I have been in Explore for more that a hundred times, and it is an awesome experience to have your photos showcased in such a special way.

I thank your for coming today, for leaving a comment, and make a favorite of yours this photo, (if that is the case) thanks again!

The best part of this forum is the contacts and friends that I have made over the years, that have the same passion for this art that is called photography!
