Description: Fawn and Brindle were found as little pups. They were taken in by a real nice lady who just passed away. They really need some training and some love. Both have beautiful spirits. Presently they are living outdoors with a big dog house and misters and swimming pools. It doesn't take much to make them happy. They would like to be together but I'm sure would adapt quickly with the right home. Please give them a chance while they are young. They are both about 45 lbs. and are not done growing. They will be neutered and have all their shots on 9/22/11 and shortly thereafter ready to go to a new home. Please help. Such a silky coat - just inviting you to pet him (which is his intention!) It was hard for me to hand him off to Wanda for vetting and either foster or adoption.... I want to keep them all (well, at least MOST of them... ;-)

We put Arch in his crate as he was falling asleep during the Steelers game. We were eating and it's impossible to do the gameday eat-on-your-lap method with a Bullie roaming around. We heard his "Hey I'm awake" yawn, and just then the Steelers made a huge play so we were sorta glued to the TV. Then we hear scratch, scratch, scratch. When I went to get him out of his crate, this is what I found.

Mixi and Beat, they are sooo cute together

A week before the third anniversary of our adopting Lucy. We're out on the Old Town wetlands trail, as we are every weekday morning. When we first got her in December 2014, she wanted to spend most of her time cowering under the futon couch and was terrified of all people. Now, she thinks all people are her best friend AND SHE MUST SAY HELLO. She is perpetually happy and loving.

Please consider adopting a dog or cat from your local shelter or a rescue group. Pet Smart partners with all sorts of rescue groups and shows animals available for adoption at least once a week - that's where we got Lucy, who was saved by a rescue group from a shelter in Mexico, along with her sister. What a joy she's been in our lives. And far cheaper than therapy.

I've been slowly introducing these two over the past 6 months. Ripley (dog) is completely submissive to hedgehog/my commands regarding him. Hedgie is now used to the dog smell (hissed like mad when I first brought the dog home). Dog is not OK with spikey, hissy companion...yet.
