The Old St. Nicholas coal Breaker, located just outside of Mahanoy City, was constructed in 1930 it was the largest coal breaker in the world.
The Breakers was built by Cornelius Vanderbilt II between 1893 and 1895. The structure is a 70 room, 5 level mansion and is 125,339 square feet. It was modeled after the Italian Renaissance palazzos found in Turin and Genoa. It was purchased by The Preservation Society of Newport County in 1972 for $365,000.

Every 3 minutes, partners change until all participants of both sides have met each other.
