Thank you mother earth for all that you provide! Thank you universal energies for vibrating at the highest frequency within my life and guiding the life force that resides within my vessel!

I adore that my husband makes bread. Furthermore, that he makes delicious, perfect, wholesome, honey whole wheat bread, six loaves at a time. Bring me the butter.

I've got a lot of goodwill towards Break Bread. As they say on their website, 'Every day our professional chefs prepare delicious, wholesome meals' and 'We only ever use the best, fresh ingredients'.
This makes it all the more surprising that at their new Smithdown Road cafe they can serve such a terrible advert for their service. 15 minutes after ordering breakfast (there were only three other tables taken, but they'd all already been served), our 'professional chef' left the cafe to go and pick up beans and bread from the nearest newsagent.
Beans and sausage were served lukewarm. The 'slow roasted plum tomato' was this effort above that must have spent all of 5 minutes in the oven. The toast was two slices of the soggiest untoasted bread I've ever seen (the toast in the photo was their second attempt, this time served with frozen butter).
A lil' ol' poster for my man Hunnicutt & co. Dude asked me on Monday, I conceptualized and sketched until Thursday, banged it out until 7:30 Friday morn. Truthfully, a lot of the layout and ideas were in my head, for the most part. Part of me wishes I still did thumbnails until my right hand falls off (like them ol' college days – thanks Neil), but my shitty time management doesn't allow for that. Plus, I might lose the spontaneity. It depends on the project, but I'm starting to hate the end results of my stuff a lot less. I'm turning a corner!
My idea from the get-go was to have a photo of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike in there, so that's what you see in the background.
And yes, this project christened the new desk. :)
This ad from Panera Bread ran in the 12/14 edition of USA Today and invites people who are having conflicts to get together and "break bread."
The wedding ceremony was early afternoon on Saturday September 21 at Longfellow Garden in Minnehaha Park.
We went on a road trip for about two weeks in the last half of September. We drove from Salt Spring Island, BC in Canada to Minneapolis, MN in the USA, via Maple Ridge, Saskatoon and Winnipeg on the way there and adding a stop in Kamloops on the way back. We had a friend's wedding to attend in Mpls and did much visiting of family and friends during the trip.
