I've never been a big fan of bread (I'm a rice and noodles eater), although most Singaporeans would disagree with me. Which is probably why Breadtalk is such a big success in Singapore. Anyway, we were out shopping and the wife wanted some bread. So we popped into a Breadtalk. See what I mean? :)

Well, I was the adventurous one, and I was looking for a Matcha Green Tea that could match the one I've had imported from Japan. So I ordered that instead. A hot Matcha Green Tea for me please. I looked at the pastries and thought about what to have for breakfast as the waiter offered me to grab some. Cupcakes was out of the equation, although I would love to have a taste. I saw the Floss bread, similar to Breadtalk, but this one is domed and I was told it has a mayonnaise filling in the center. It wouldn't suit my drink, though. Then my eyes drifted to the Danish breads. My favorite would be the Blueberry. And so I finalized my order with a Blueberry Danish.

This is the BreadTalk in Kuta within the Discovery Mall. I was here in 2009 and now in 2012. It had some shop set-up changes but its allright. Most delicious sweet bread with cheese variations.
