Boris's latest brainwave is to place pianos at various points in London, in the hope that any passing jolly cockney can sit themselves down and bash out a few tunes, thereby cheering up the world weary of tube strikes and other less important issues.

Shraddha Kapoor can’t sing & dance in Haseena Parkar…So here’s the ‘golden’ solution
Apoorva Lakhia’s highly anticipated bio-pic on Dawood Ebrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar is facing a peculiar problem. How to promote the film without any songs? “Haseena in Apu’s film cannot sing and dance like Shraddha in Rock On and Half Girlfriend. She has to remain in character. This means she can’t do any of those filmy things that heroines are expected to while promoting a film,” says a source.
The film’s innovative director has hit on a brainwave. He will use retro music in a big way to fill the lacuna created by an absence of contemporary songs. Says a source, “Apoorva Lakhia’s producers have bought the rights of some of the biggest chartbusters of the 1970s including ‘Chura Liya Tumne Jo Dil Ko’ from Yaadon Ki Baaraat and ‘Arrey Diwanon Mujhe Pehchanon’ from Don. These will be used as part of the film’s soundtrack.”
Also, Shraddha Kapoor will sing a theme song composed specially by Sachin Jigar celebrating the life of a woman who was forever shadowed by her brother’s criminal records. “The song will be mellow moody and melancholic. Shraddha will prove once and for all that she is indeed related to the illustrious Mangeshkar family,” says a source.

Self-distortion interrogates the mediating effects of technology on identity construction. According to participants’ brainwave patterns (which are a by-product of the level of participants’ meditative state), the glitch image on the monitor will gradually become more or less clear. By using bone conduction technology and transforming the brainwaves of participants into real-time sound waves, this work enables participants to hear/feel their own meditative sounds. This produces a new form of sensory experience for individual brainwave observation.

For my A2 Textiles coursework. I have chosen to create a garment from the perspective of a designer in the film industry. I decided that creating this project from the perspective of an industry professional would give me an opportunity to explore the different problems and processes a designer and maker would go through during a live project for the screen.

Background Information
The Lunar Chronicles is a Dystopian/Sci-Fi series by Marissa Meyer that is based on the re-tellings of famous fairytales like Cinderella and Rapunzel. Queen Levana is based on the Evil Queen from Snow White, who now lives on the Moon, known as Luna. Within the series, the people of Luna have the genetic ability to manipulate the bio-electricity of others (their brainwaves) and as a result are able to distort their thoughts and actions. Queen Levana's ability is exceptionally stronger than the rest of the people of Luna, making her very powerful and influential.; paired with her thirst for power, she also becomes a very dangerous character.

Almost home after a long journey, Tony Cellini, the sole survivor of the Ultra mission, lies in a comatose state, monitored remotely by Dr. Mathias through the umbilical data link. Only the analog brainwave and heartbeat signals are available as all digital systems in the module were damaged by an unknown force. Cellini accomplished the impossible task of interplanetary navigation using only manual backup controls and visual star tracking.
Sarah Français' Alpha Project was performed at the Second Nature festival in Aix-en-Provence (France). Music was played live by Greg Lion and Rorre Ecco (Beat Pleasure).
The brainwaves of the dancers were monitored thanks to EMOTIV's EPOC neuroheadset and transformed in real-time in digital visual art projected while the dancers were performing. It offered a new dimension to the artistic performance allowing dancers to express themselves with their bodies and their brains.

My first proper traffic trails shot
I took my camera out this evening. The sky looked amazing and the moon too. Unfortunately, they didn't work out and so I had one of my classic brainwaves. There's a bollard just outside the shop so there I was thinking "LONG EXPOSURE !" There was no traffic at that point so I didn't want to risk thirty seconds. I stuck with twenty, and right at the nineteenth second, a load of traffic came by. DAMN. I should have risked it.
This isn't my house, although my house is semi-detached ! Not as good as I would have hoped for, but I tried. Views are drying up, I hope this is liked by one and all. Every Flickrite is in the same boat at the moment, I'm going to try and attract some more viewers and contacts. Down in the dumps.
