In traditional Aboriginal culture the tangible world coexists and interacts with other realms through the ‘Dreaming’ - a rich interwoven narrative of interconnection between all living things and the spirit world. Neurologically the dream state is characterized by heightened Theta brainwave activity, evident also when the mind is engaged in moments of inspiration, creative thinking and daydreaming. In this work I have attempted to convey the complexity of Theta mind states through the metaphor of moving water and the suggestive layering of energy fields.

So, as you noticed I've only been rarely updating my FLICKR for anything but, my 365 day project, I've been busy writing and of course, doing homework. So, today I decided to make myself into the main character in my story, "Mars Hero" [not 100% that will be the title]. I'll give you a quick for your information on it.

There is a girl named Marsha who had lost her lungs at a very young age, so she is unable to breath correctly or talk. She lives on Mars with her Dad. She has a little pet alien that does all her talking for her by reading Marsha's brainwaves, being they don't have sign language, yet. A few weeks into her high school year the school plans to take a trip to Earth. She's excited but found out Alien Andie can only come if she pays a large fine. She does whatever she can to raise the money. After she gets the money and goes to Earth she finds out she wants to help less fortune kids in other places. So she goes to school on Earth to become a nurse. Ends up going to help less fortune kids get medical care [one of my dreams - helping the less fortune or people with needs in the health care field].
Interesting? Slightly, but I didn't include other conflicts that go on as she tries to be successful at helping the world.
