Naho Taruishi's piece requires the viewer to interact on a very basic level... the act of seeing... and even more seemingly impossibl: seeing without opening one's eyes.

Ese árbol (que bueno ahora ni árbol es) lo cortaron hace años. Ahora ya creció un poquito y me siento bien padre porque es como un cuento, arrancar duraznos que sobresalen por la pared del patio lleno de viejos recuerdos :)

Jacques Lavoisier and Greg Lion were invited to speak and perform at TEDxAix.

During the live peformance of one of Jacques songs, Greg Lion's brainwaves were monitored thanks to EMOTIV's EPOC neuroheadset. This allowed Greg to the filters of a virtual synthesizer (powered by Propellerhead Reason) with his mind only while he played the keys. The audience could see in real time Greg's brain activity thanks to EMOTIV's BrainViz app.

this is my edible sweetie selfie - takes years, well decades, off you - 3D printed on the spot by the amazing Katjes Magic Candy factory now at John Lewis nationwide....this is the brilliant brainwave of Melissa Snover, entrepreneur extraordinaire, who set up her customised candy company in April 2015. But 3D printing in "gummy candy" was a big challenge - "I spent many long weeks learning coding, slicing and networking..."

So cold tonight. On the way back, had a brainwave and stopped off at Liberton Crossroads. Crossroads, I have remembered, have a huge significance, being meeting points of movement and as such create a sort of social and transport gravity. As a result they have become natural hot spots. Have developed a couple of rules:

1) have to have the main local shops in frame, so I have to shoot from a dead corner. However, my sigma 10-20 doesn't come out quite wide enough. so this is the compromise.

2) Has to have bus on it so waited for 20 minutes (really wanted to go home!) but the lights were with and it swept past. Have to get it another night.

3) Must be a little damp for a sheeny shine

4) In post processing, added a blue tone and filtered others.

Seems to add up to something. I think it is that this sort of place is not photographed often, consistently or meaningfully. LIking this......

This woman, who had to wait in a very long line, is looking into Naho Taruishi's piece. The piece uses bright lights that project onto one's eyelids to create an internal projection screen.

Rorre Ecco, Jacques Lavoisier and Greg Lion played a Neuromix on the Aix-Marseille University campus as part of the PsychAid event.

The brainwaves of the audience were monitored thanks to EMOTIV's EPOC neuroheadset and transformed in real-time in digital visual art projected while the dancers were performing. It offered a new dimension to the artistic performance allowing them to express themselves with their bodies and their brains.

BRAIN TONE PHOTO PARTY We use a state-of-the-art EEG headset It collects your brainwave information and analyzes what your brain is doing. Specifically, we collect how you're feeling. When you begin Brain Painting, this information streams wirelessly in real-time through the Braintone Art Imagery Generation Engine to project your emotions as abstract artwork on the digital canvas. It generates a continuous flow of modern shapes which bloom in color and form based on the your immediate emotional fluctuations.
