Ever have one of those days when your brain can't reach you?
Photographer's note: I was not very pleased with how this one turned out due to equipment failure (dead camera batteries during my first attempt), timed street lights, and police. Yes, the police stopped to chat with me since they thought I closed the street myself, but in fact the road blocks were already there. So I had to explain why I was holding a brain under the train tracks. Nothing to see here officers! ;)
One of my biggest struggles with my 365 project is not being able to "perfect" my photographs enough in the allotted time with busy schedules. I'm sure everyone doing a 365 project deals with this common struggle, but it sure takes a toll one one's mental and physical self. Just 26 more days til rest!

The last of my 'playing with food' photo op. I felt like Amy on Big Bang Theory slicing a brain, except for the fact that I'm not as nerdy, far less intelligent, and not attracted to Sheldon, lol.
Analysis of my brain pan revealed lots of activity of a bird-like nature. I've been assured it's harmless.

As some of you know I had a near fatal encounter with a brain tumor in 2010. My daughter found me unconscious and called 911. I thank her every day for saving my life!
Meningioma
A usually noncancerous tumor that arises from the membranes surrounding
the brain and spinal cord.

I wish I was thirty years younger as seemingly in this photo.
But sadly I haven't found a Tardis or the elixir of eternal youth. Like most dressing services The Boudoir offers the option of having your photos digitally edited. Unlike some Jodie doesn't insist upon it and I generally don't like it. But I was struck by this one taken at Sparkle 2019.
Speaking of Tardis, if I ever did get my hands on one, I doubt it would be big enough to carry back all the vintage nylons I'd accumulate!

Anand, our icon model since our first catalogue, is wrapped in a silk scarf made with a hand embroidery.
This artcraft is done by ladies involved in several workshops that we have settled with GURIA, a Human Rights organisation fighting against the sexual exploitation of women and children, particularly those forced into prostitution and trafficking.
Each scarf is unique and made in sarees provided by many women in Benaras who take this opportunity to get rid of pieces that they brought in order to celebrate happy moments, festivals or parties.
Those accessories carry traces of happiness in their yarns...
