During the break between two games, one of the moms braided all the girls' hair. This is my dear Aida in the chair.
I was fascinated by these braided streams, formed by water run-off from the mountains in the distance.
If my calculations are correct, we were over the Turpan Pendi when I took these pictures, so those might be the Flaming Mountains.

Found washed up on the shore of Tin Can Beach, Saint John, NB. Somebody took the time to twist this rope into an intricate loop.
I must agree it is long, but I must keep it for continuity. I'll be glad to be rid of it in September!
This is the way I keep her curl, she will stay in this braids in storage until her next photo shooting.
My hair's not fabulous-- it's a little short and thick. I don't really like it, but when my hair improves in the future, I'd be able to re-braid it again and make it gorgeous.

Eek! So happy I got this Cloe for Christmas! I've wanted her for so long because of those braids and that beautiful face. Most Bratz don't look this sweet (hence the name "Bratz," I suppose. :)
My wife's family came to visit us from out of state. On Saturday we all visited the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.
