Finally finishing up my second custom petite Blythe. I put her in this contraption to hold her while I braided her hair. The hair was so fine and my fingers felt like fat sausages, but I finally got it done. I just have to dress her now : )
On a lark, The Wife braided my hair this morning before church. I left it in most of the day. She doesn't do this very often, although it looks nifty. From the back, I'm starting to look like Mr. Worf.

Holly's been doing some really nice work on Anastasia's hair lately. As is so often the case, I am runnin' along behind, trying to keep track of it all.
By following the sequential order, one can make a Ladder Braid. Part One joins all eight threads together making the ladder's rung. Part Two becomes the sides of the ladder, making two smaller braids simultaneously. This braid was done with 4 ply yarn. Enjoy creating your on Ladder Braid with different colors and different types of materials.
