BR Standard 5 No. 73156 has just left Loughborough Central, and is running Light Engine to Swithland Sidings.
She was built at Doncaster, in December 1956. Her first allocation was Neasden (34E) - she arrived there on January 6th 1957.
Neasden was recoded 14D in February 1958. Subsequent allocations were as follows:-
Sheffield Millhouses (41C) April 1958
Sheffield Grimesthorpe (41B) January 1959
Derby (17A) September 1960
Neasden (14D) September 1960
Leicester Central (15E) June 1962
Woodford Halse (2F) February 1963
Cricklewood (14A) May 1963, (recoded 14B September 1963)
Leamington Spa (2L) October 1964
Tyseley (2A) June 1965
Bolton (9K) April 1966
Withdrawn in November 1967.
She arrived at Woodham's Barry for scrap in February 1968, but departed for restoration in October 1986, to the East Lancs Railway.
She moved to the GCR in 2002, and steamed on August 26th 2016.
This was the first time that I'd seen her since November 16th 1985!
