A few months ago I bought this lovely jewelry box from the 1950s. (Yes maybe a little slowto post the pictures) It cost less than a cup of coffee so it was a real bargain. The box is green with lovely ornaments. It doesn't matter that the lock dont work.
For the moment I only have a pocket watch, pearl necklace and great grandmothers old jewelry from the 1800s in it.

I had seen the pictures from previous Dragon*Cons of the Box Troopers, but this was the first time I saw Box Vader. And, while I didn't see him in the parade, I also got pictures of Chew-Box-A.

Boxes are permitted to visit with up to three (3) visitors at the same time, with the maximum number to be determined by conditions set forth in each facility, availability of space. All boxes are limited to one (1) visit session per visit day.

Newly restored and on display at Beamish Museum is a once common sight in cities and towns in the UK, the police public telephone box. These boxes were used by the public (and police officers) before the invention of current telephone technology to summon police when needed.
No doubt the summoned office would arrive on his bicycle, blowing his whistle! It all seems so long ago!

The back of the box features that classic black and white lineart look that Kenner and other companies often used for the rear panel. If I ever do another one, I think I'll incorporate some red ink line art also, which was common back then too.

The red 9V battery box. It's only ever been in two sets (in red; this 9V box has come in black, red, white, and yellow over the years) , but I sorta wish it would come back in the PowerFunctions system. It's so nice and compact. There's a 2x6 section of powered studs on top for attaching multiple things if you wanted, and the raised grey studs at the left end are the power switch. They latch down to turn the power on.

Shot on TriX rated at 320 in Pentax LX with smc P-K 50mm F1.2 lens. Processed in Xtol 1:3 at 68F for 12.5 minutes.
Edited to reduce some of the keystoning to properly emulate a Hero Shot.
