Here are some pictures of my handmade cigar box uke ... which is incomplete. It still needs a bridge. I really like the way it looks now though! The inlayed star (my first time trying inlay... in case you couldn´t tell) is a river clam found in Redwood Falls, and so is the S in the soundhole. The wood of the neck was trashpicked, and the wood of the fingerboard is from a broken beach chair handle. The tuners are classical guitar tuners cut and carved to match. I can´t wait to get a sound out of this thing!
While the tractor gently comes forward, empty boxes are thrown one by one to be filled with the potatoes waiting to be picked.

This ceramic box is by Italian maker Bitossi. It retains its original Rosenthal Netter import sticker with the words "Made in Italy" and the handwritten code "93/15". It was found in Manitowoc, WIsconsin.
my take on the new nnenn cockpit box, the back is inverted(so you can have that smooth belly look) but now the pilot doesn't have to hold on by his feet and there is room for hand controls.
ICE BOX
Following the structure of an ice box this project transforms the architectural form of a super market and the inside functions.
The customer’s route is displaced from the parallel horizontal nonstop levels of a ground floor super market to a corridor along the vertical spiral triangle of a five floor building.

Box mounted manually with corrugated cardboard decorated with black details and symbols of traditional packaging. The box is not just a package, but also a collector's item.

Wedding Sample Box. Here is a sample box prepared for a bride and groom to sample some of our flavors. Featured here is perfect chocolate cupcakes with rich ganache filling and whipped coconut buttercream, butter yellow cupcakes with fresh strawberry filling and whipped strawberry buttercream and perfect chocolate and butter yellow with whipped buttercream. Description: Trinket box. Made from metal and glass. The box is rectangular. The frame of the box is gold coloured with raised filigree design. There are four spherical feet at each corner of the base. The lid of the box is glass in a rectangular shape. The closure is a small sphere that catches on the rim of the frame.

Each year, Gallery Route One in Point Reyes invites over a hundred artists to create unique works of art using a wooden box.
Here are the inspiring artworks they created this year: they range in style from whimsical to poignant and thought-provoking. These photos were taken on closing day, when the gallery organized a live auction for each of this year’s 150 boxes. The proceeds support the gallery’s exhibits and community programs.
Two of the boxes were created by members of our art community: Howard Rheingold (a.k.a. Dr. Rindbrain) contributed an illuminated box called ‘Magical’, while Geo Monley and Meryl Rubenstein made ‘Les Puzzles.’
Members of ‘Pataphysical Studios came to cheer for their peers -- Dr. Really was the highest bidder for Dr. Rindbrain’s piece, which was thus kept in the family. After the show, we all went to Stellina to celebrate over a nice dinner.
