Some boats feature a bow pulpit, which is an extension of the bow area that extends beyond the hull. This is often used for mounting navigation lights, anchors, and other equipment. It provides passengers with a space to enjoy the view or for convenient storage, enhancing the overall comfort and utility of the vessel.
The bow is the first part of the boat to encounter new waters, symbolizing the potential for exploration, discovery, and new experiences.
Ted having tried the red bow tie first, realised that it clashed terribly with his jumper, so opted for the bright blue one hoping that it would impress the single female teddy bears at the office party.
Bowes railway in the North East does not have any working steam currently but on my visit in October 2008 for an open weekend 3 engines were in steam.
I hope that this photograph answers the question that was posed on the internet: "I'm looking for a compact camera and I am looking at the Lumix DMC-TZ80. Now reading reviews online are giving me mixed feelings. I see a lot of comments about how it takes bad pictures... So the question is, is it the camera or just the way people are using it?"
This is an uncropped zoom shot from the Lumix DMC-TZ80. I doubt I could have achieved a better result even with my 45.7 MP Nikon D850. And this compact camera has 18 MP. So you see, it's not about the sensor size or the specs of a particular camera. It is all about the light and composition.
This beautiful bow will decorate the Christmas tree in a few weeks.

Bow Lake is a small lake in western Alberta, Canada. It is located on the Bow River, in the Canadian Rockies, at an altitude of 1920 m.
It is renown for its breathtaking turquoise-blue waters and dramatic mountain scenery.
The lake lies south of the Bow Summit, and is one of the lakes that line the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park and Jasper National Park,

I composed this photograph during a recent photography outing to the town of Banff, in Canada's Banff National Park.
It pictures one segment of the Bow Falls, a major waterfall on the Bow River, Alberta, just before the junction of it and the Spray River.
The falls are within walking distance of both Banff and the Banff Springs Hotel, so they are visited by many tourists.
The 1953 Marilyn Monroe film River of No Return featured the falls.
