a superball with a glittery snow globe inside. it bounces pretty erratically, but I still like it with the glitter spinning around inside. I hope I don't break it too quickly. My mom gave it to me in my Christmas stocking.

This mother decided she could get some good excercise by bouncing her daughter up and down on a Pepsi cooler. That is, if it's her daughter! What if the little girl was trying to get away by jumping up in the air, and the sadistic woman kept catching her?!
Thats the result of a script that I wrote with processing, when you press the mouse (the triangle on the movie), balls are created that fall and bounce on the screen.

Pearl recently had some surgery on her neck .. you can still see the shaved area. She sure seems to have recovered fairly well.
Experimenting with Automatic vs Manual AF Point Selection modes after installing firmware upgrade v1.1.0 in my Canon EOS 1D Mark III.
There is not much light today, so getting action shots was a challenge, but I think I got enough shots to compare results. It still seems that Manual AF Point (I use the center point) is giving better results than Automatic AF Point Selection.

One of the two CDs I ordered from Chunksaah (the Bouncing Souls' label) with my birthday cash was the Bouncing Souls' LIVE double album, which for some reason I didn't already have. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package full of stuff I ordered (mostly vinyl versions of their albums to round out my collection) and noticed the only thing not shrinkwrapped was the double album.
So I opened it up to check it out, took out the jacket to look at it (as I do with every new record or CD I get) and noticed all their photos inside looked... signed.
I looked closer and at first I couldn't tell if it was part of the album art or not. Until I looked at Greg's name under the light, and you can tell it is actually signed.
Of course, after tearing up (I cry easily okay???) I taped it up right above my drawing desk, right where I need inspiration the most. Few items are important enough to be taped to my drawing desk. The only other things there are a photo of me & Zane, a postcard from Leslie Feinberg, a list of goals for each day, and a random sticker.
I consider myself one of the luckiest superfans ever to be obsessed with such a gracious and kind band.
