Handheld shot with the 18-200 VR on a Nikon D80 @ 1/13 s, f/4, 26mm, &100 ISO. Would've tried a longer shutter, but this was her last jump on the trampoline.
Lately I have been doing a lot of scrap quilting so this challenge was perfect for me. My quilt is 18"x24" and I quilt in Chandler Arizona.
Cassandra has just started gymnastics.
The light in the gymnasium is appallingly poor. There are no electric lights. It is just some overcast sunlight filtering in from high windows. This shot is 1/640 sec to freeze the action at ISO 4500 at f/5 in available light.
Exeter Quay on a drab grey July evening - we call it Bouncing as we used to jump up & down on it when my children were small.
After the bulk of the steel wool had burned away, there was only a small core of still-burning material. It did not emit sparks, but rather just sort of glowed. In this shot, after the main event had passed, it sort of turned from a spark show to one where there were simple and clear lines.

This play event in Pittville Park, Cheltenham, was organised by the Play Rangers from Cheltenham Borough Council.
During the school holidays the Play Rangers' main focus is on the parks in Cheltenham where we aim to provide a fun filled day in the park for the community to come along and enjoy. We aim our service at a different park each day across the holiday period running from 10.30am-3.30pm
