We were dumped by our tour at this very boring museum downtown and left for over an hour to look at a few meager exhibits that only had Spanish descriptions.....and we wanted to see this why???

We found a couple of these at eye level at Salmo Pass, Pend Oreille County, Washington, August 19 '05.

We spotted this boreal owl perched in the morning sun in the Superior National Forest.

Boreal is a magical gathering at Moon River in Ontario. 150 awesome individuals canoe out to a little slice of heaven on earth to enjoy the company and the beautiful surroundings and some great music.

It's a journey that must be taken at least once in your life time.

Superb Owl Sunday!

Nothing to do in this time! Argh

Whilst on their own, each of these three buildings look gorgeous, together, they are a mess. Nice to see three very different architectural styles so close together though, just a shame that they don't work.

Boring in background

I saw this owl as I was hiking up the Lester River. It acted as if it didn't care I was there at all. It kept its eyes on the ground, and I'm guessing it was looking for a tasty mouse or vole. It flew to a couple different perches, looked around, and eventually flew upriver.
