While on an Edmonton Nature Club outing today, we came upon the best sighting at the end of the hike ... this Boreal Owl. Not a great shot, but I'll take what I can get. You don't see these guys too often!

This is how sleepy you get by studying a new language ;)

This fledgling Boreal Owl was quite a treat as it entertained our Eagle Eye Tours group in Terra Nova National Park.

By now, Iraina is quite bored with being the subject of photographs. For this one, her expression seems to say, ok, if I must, I must.

Everyone loves an Irish girl, except when her singing is a portent of doom! Though typically not considered malicious, the Banshee is hardly ever a welcome guests, as its wailing means death comes soon for someone in the household. It seems we've caught our girl here with some downtime, and no sudoku to be found. Can you say SingStar 80's for Playstation? No Siouxie, but maybe some Dexy's Midnight Runners?

The President came to the town i live in today. So me and a few friends high tailed it over the rally and hung out with gee-dub. It was a good time. This kid doesnt care about politics. There is hope for him yet

...on my boring stream...

the weeds behind my gramma's house...she hates them, I love them, but I'm trying to convince my sister to let me take pictures of her in them so I can get a shot that is not so cliche...
