Playing around with the lens correction on CS5 ... maybe a bit too keen!

Listening to my friends crappy ass music being bored.

Sometimes I struggle with how to make a room pop when it's kind of dull and boring. This shot is a perfect example. Decent room, kind of OK furniture, gray day outside...this just looks so blah to me. Any suggestions on what I could have done to make this more compelling?

(This was a rush job with little time to do anything fancy. Agent, owners, and twin 2 year olds were running all over the place).

One SB80 CL into wall, 1 in far stairs (too bright), 1 in stairs to right.

Any suggestions on how to make these average looking rooms pop a little more?

Got bored at my lake house & decided to take a picture of the feet. The slanted ceiling helped out nicely!

yep. I'm bored. So I decided to try taking some contrast-y pictures, and as usual I'm my most available (cooperative model).

This picture represents to me the boringness in our little cities in france. The colors, are not really flashy too, as the landscapes are in the countryside.

When I looked at the cleaned bore, I thought it looked pretty good. I didn't see any pitting or obvious flaws. I took it to Braverman's gun shop and the smith there commented that it was in better condition than he thought it would be. The rifling was worn, though, which would affect accuracy. I want to refurbish the rifle to make it functionable so that I can say it is a working weapon but I never had any expectation that I would take it to a range and expect to do any target shooting with it. If I can get it to go "bang" without risk of it blowing up in my face I will be very pleased.
