Northern lights (Aurora Borealis) from a lay-by off route 969 (just north of Mustola) a short distance away from Nellim in the province of Lapland, Finland. Nellim is a village on the shore of Lake Inari approximately 42 km from Ivalo and 9 km from the border with Russia. Route 969 runs from Akujärvi to a short distance beyond Nellim.

The last station before the border with Croatia. No problem at all with photographing here. When moving on the Sapjane things were very different with Croatian border officials being like the former Communist times.
Paddy & Mist don't need to fetch things as they have an Elk that does that task ... here Elk is looking for the wee bit of heather stalk that went quite a way downwind when thrown
Union Pacific SD40Ns No. 1954 and 2015 pull the Cache Valley Local across the Utah-Idaho State Line the morning of May 16, 2018. The LUG41C's journey will end in Preston, Idaho, where a portion of the train will be left in the yard prior to a return to Logan, Utah.
