Paddy never has really liked the wet stuff and treats it with great suspicion, when he has to, he'll walk slowly with disdain shaking each paw as he takes it out of the water, as it gets deeper (to his collywobbles) theres always a perceptual pause :) .... his best ploy is to avoid it all together!!

.. and Paddy .. who's just here for tte fun!

Royal Border Bridge in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England. This historic railway viaduct is a testament to Victorian engineering and remains in active service today as a crucial part of the East Coast Main Line connecting London and Edinburgh.

The bridge spans the River Tweed between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Tweedmouth.

It was designed by the renowned railway engineer Robert Stephenson, son of George Stephenson. Construction took place between 1847 and 1850, involving a workforce of up to 2,700 men. The structure is composed of 28 semi-circular arches and built primarily from brick faced with stone.

The bridge is approximately 659 metres (2,162 ft) long and carries the railway line 37 metres (121 ft) above the river level.

Queen Victoria officially opened the bridge on August 29, 1850, and permitted it to be named the Royal Border Bridge.

Despite its name, the bridge is located entirely within England; the actual border with Scotland is about 3 miles further north.
