Which socks to wear with boots?
Probably the best choice is wool socks or even thermal socks. These help to keep your feet warm and are also thick enough to protect your feet. Socks for booties are a good choice if you're planning on wearing your boots for a long time. You can also try cotton or synthetic socks.
sarah made these sweet booties for my sister's twins. as a photograph they are super cute but they are even sweeter in real life.

It had been run by the same family for the best part of 90 years.
Unfortunately it couldnt compete with the Tescos just behind and the outrageous rising costs that the local council imposes on all the small businesses of Bury.

I have been handicapped in my beach walks -- the ones I've seen on Okinawa so far are coral beaches, which are hard on the feet. Add the sea urchins and rockfish that await you in the water, and you have a recipe for pedal disaster (THAT's an awkward phrase). Purchased these dive booties today so I can walk among the tidal pools without fear. They are awesome -- 3/4 inch of thick felt on the soles keeps all the spiny things at bay.
