It had been run by the same family for the best part of 90 years.
Unfortunately it couldnt compete with the Tescos just behind and the outrageous rising costs that the local council imposes on all the small businesses of Bury.
Known affectionately to the older residents as 'Ma Bootys'

Bosley is enjoying a romp in the snow after over a week of vet prescribed "no walks". Bosley had an injured / infected paw pad that is now finally almost healed. The booties are vet prescribed as well - she doesn't want him re-injuring his foot on the snow and ice. This is the first time Bosley ever wore booties and after a couple minutes of awkwardness, he was galloping around like normal.

I went and did some pictures at Steel Blue in Durham last night for the white party at the start of Pride Week and I am convinced that the Sony a550 was the right camera. Most of these were shot hand-held at 1600 ISO and the results are usable. Nice.
