don't tell me you don't know this song. It will change your life. I think it's been stuck in my head more or less continuously since about 2007.
once again i’m wearing a pair of shoes that i bought because reviews stated they come untied. this time it’s tan wedge heel ankle boots and i’ve worn them a number of times already and sometimes they stay tied but this particular thursday i didn’t even try and just wore them loose and untied with tan hose, gray skirt and long sleeved tunic working at the other office where they don’t care if my laces are tied or not
These little booties were made for little Emilia Ladle and posted off to London to keep her tootsies warm this winter.
Baby booties for 3-6 month old. Made from fleece and sewn entirely by hand.
Made for an amazing lady who just had a baby girl but is against traditional baby colours.
Here are more of my creations.
The back two with the pompoms, the turban and the booties were knitted. Other two were crocheted. I adjusted the size from the pattern. This booties set was a bit smaller from my previous purple one to fit the newborn. Love that turban one. It looked so cute. Since they need to be washed, I made the pompom rather big so my niece can trim them the way she wanted it.
This is my favorite from a recent maternity shoot. I didn't know what I was doing, but she trusted me, and she ended up loving the finished product. So, everyone is
happy:-) I don't understand flickr, this think looks like the hands are coming out of the screen, but it was one of my faves. I'll post another tomorrow maybe.

First of all, I need to apologize for calling this series of shots 'The Big Booty Biker Babe', that's a very sexist and demeaning thing to say, and I'm really sorry, but I'm trying to make a point here: The good girls of Amsterdam ride their bikes like Pros, they are faster, fitter, cooler and better looking than any other group of girls on this planet, and they make biking look reallyreally good! But there's one downside to this flaunted fitness, the saddles of our old-fashioned grannybikes squash our behinds into unnatural shapes while riding, and when one of us actually hops of his/her bike, which almost never happens, we even stay mounted when we're sleeping, it takes a while before our tushies find their own form back, resulting in weird shapes while they're resetting to their natural states, and if you're unlucky enough to have me and my cam with its mighty zoomlens in your back while it's happening to you, you end up with pictures like these out there on the Interwebs, hahaha :D
Sorry Amsterdam ladies, just kidding, you're fiiiiiiiiiine!!!

Anyway wearing my better pair of burgundy back lace ankle booties today with black hosiery and beet-ish colored sweaterdress. While my unisa pair is pull-on (which i usually prefer) and has a faux leather rear drawstring (seen deeper in my photostream) i like this comfortview pair better for its elastic laces. Between their consistency & hardware they come untied easily and i’ll admit zippers make the world a lot easier now that i’m not as naive or stubborn as i was in high school & college so that’s what makes these better.
Anyway still sitting in the car at work, gotta grab some groceries on the way home. Toodles.
