OK, Here goes another crazy experiment. I just installed a 4" inline electric blower between the PT Cruiser's air filter and intake. This blower comes on with the ignition key, at the same time the HHO Generator comes on.
I'm hoping for some increase in performance/mpg with the blower, at least with city driving. I suspect that at highway rpm's, the cfm consumption of air, probably surpasses the input of the fan/blower which is rated at 240cfm.
I don't have a clue to how much CFM the PTCruiser's 2.4L engine uses under load or rpm range. Had an extra blower, and felt it would be interesting to try it out in this application/experiment.
I have seen however commercial electric turbos on the market which were similar in concept, so unless they were totally snake oil, this might actually do some good. At the very least, it might make the air swirl, like a vortex as it enters the intake and cylinders....... lol
Here's a link to a commercial unit that produces 250 cfm, and a short excerpt from it's description:
www.scribd.com/doc/2426845/Electric-Supercharger-air-intake
"A stock turbo from an Audi 1.8T produces 400CFM. Adding the electric supercharger will produce more then half of the power than a stock Audi 1.8T turbo would. There is need to do any modifications to your engine at all. 250CFM of forced air can also be compared to a 15-25 shot of Nitrous."
The inline blower that I'm using is only $20.00 from Overton's.
9/11/2008 Update:
OK, it looks like I gainied about 2miles extra per gallon of gasoline, at least in the few days worth of driving that I have done so far. A day worth of driving is roughly around 100 miles max, with 8 to 15 miles of that being city driving. I'll keep it installed, since it's at least not making the mileage worse. Nothing to do cartwheels over, but at least it's something on the + side of the fence.

This pair of Adidas Boost are not as snug as the white ones, Woman's 6, EU 37 1/2. About the size I feel fits me the best.
And I do appreciate how the previous occupant wore the forefoot through the outsole and well into the midsole on these.
Neutral Bay Gas Boosting Station and gasholder, Sydney. The site, operated as a gasworks for the North Shore Gas Company, manufacturing ‘town gas’, from the 1880s until 1932, supplying the North Shore of Sydney. The site remained as a gas pressure boosting station therafter, finally, closing down in 1982, following a merger with the Australian Gas Light Company ( AGL Co), as natural gas made inroads into the Northern suburbs, The buildings were demolished in 1985.

The gasworks site is now home to a medium density residential development.

Women in the Economy: Boosting Transition through Diversity
The Women in Business Panel delivered a rich debate and an exchange of ideas and experiences on how women empower the economy. The discussion explored the wider role in which women can contribute to the economy as well as in business, and how the economy can benefit from this. The topic builds upon last yearâs discussion, which debated the business case for greater gender diversity on management boards. It will look at questions such as, why women continue to face challenges in becoming key players in the corporate world; what is the net result of these challenges on businesses, the economy and society; and what measures should be taken by governments and the private sector to address the negative impacts that they have?
The Panel discussion was followed by an Award Ceremony which recognised three women from the Bank's countries of operation, whom have made outstanding contribution in the following categories: Entrepreneurship, Industry and Banking/FI.
Award Ceremony Sponsored by Bank of Georgia.

Local self help groups, often run by grandmothers like Malati (pictured), supply nutritional food supplements to the community health centres.
Such initiatives increase employment and give a boost to the local economy, as well as providing vulnerable mums-to-be, babies and children across the state with vital nutrition.
In the last three years, the Odisha government has ensured nearly 50,000 more vulnerable children receive nutritional services.
Background
Britain is working with the Government of Odisha, one of India's poorest states, and UNICEF to save the lives of thousands of mums and babies.

8th February, 2016 Tauropanneh Town, Bombali District, Sierra Leone: Women farmers waiting to buy seeds at the entrance of the Tauropanneh Agri-business Centre. Thanks to the Africa Solidarity Trust Fund this centre have revamped their petty trade and Village Savings and Loan Association.
In order to help cushion the adverse effect of the Ebola outbreak on the farming communities in the country, the Africa Solidarity Trust Fund (ASTF) provided timely financing to FAO. Thanks to these funds, an assessment of randomly sampled Agribusiness Centres (ABCs) was conducted across the country in July 2015 to ascertain the impact of the Ebola outbreak on their farming activities, and identify areas and beneficiaries for immediate support.
The members suffered huge loss during the Ebola outbreak, as their vegetables got perished because of movement restriction. Most of them also couldn´t meet their loan commitments due to market disruption and the related loss of income. Faced with this critical situation, the ABC benefitted from 120 million Leones to buy seeds and reactivate their village savings and loans scheme. This support enabled them to buy vegetable seeds
of different varieties, fertilizer, insecticides and sprayers.

Singapore Zoo is as renowned for its orangutans as it is for its rainforest jungle environment and ‘open concept’ design.
These were my favourites! The smallest member of the otter family, the Asian small-clawed otter is a feisty little thing with sharp teeth and partially webbed feet. I spent ages watching their antics.
