Testing a new version of the Graphic boost filter for gmic

This is a shot taken right around the corner from my house in the parking lot of a church.
To get the height for this shot, I extended the legs of my tri-pod to their maximum length, set the camera to timer mode, and held it as high in the air as I could. I had to take about fifteen shots until I got a favourable composition due to the fact that the camera was about seven feet above my head at the time each shot fired.
I cropped it down, fixed the white balance and adjusted the blacks in Lightroom.

This one is quite good. Doubling from 2V to 4V still gives several hundred mA of juice. Nice. And the little chip didn't even get warm.

COMIC-CON is held annually in San Diego, we go every year and have really watched it grow, it's HUGE! A fun event with something for everyone, it has become a major pop culture happening.

Bridge Opportunities Offered for the Sophomore Transition (BOOST). Motivated by the societal impact students could see themselves making, they devoted several weeks of their summer to apply their engineering skills to make a difference in the community. BOOST features urban-centered, design-focused service-learning projects. BOOST opens opportunities to students during the critical transition between freshman and sophomore years to gain experience in engineering design and implementation, develop problem-solving and communication skills, and discover their engineering identity. Almost everything has been taken off (except the trimpot). I am waiting for the rest of my parts to arrive and the finished enclosure before I add everything else.
