From the Comic Book "mini" Series by Jeff Smith, the character is called the "Hooded One" with Fone Bone's face as a disguise.
Bones was made an outdoor cat for 2-3 years because she stopped using her litter box after her owner got another cat. She was brought into a vet's office for euthanasia because the owner did not want her to spent the winter outdoors. The vet talked them into transferring her to another residence without another cat, and trying Fluoxetine for her anxiety. She is a sweet cat, and loves to be petted.
Thursday morning I walked 3800m on our regular route. I started up The Grind with a 5kb (10lb.) backpack. A little training hike for some upcoming adventures.
September is traditionally The Hikers' Month as the snow pack is low and most of the mud has dried up. This is quite evident by viewing the dried-out forests and understory that blankets Mt. Tolmie.
The dry grass does present a real fire hazard but luckily there hasn't been a major fire up on the mountain for some years now.

Mi manca quella sensazione,adesso sembra sempre più colmata da tante di quelle cose che riempiono più la mente che il cuore,che lo stomaco.

Se proprio desideri deprimerti per bene prendi il cd Parachutes dei Coldplay e ascolta quei 50 minuti,quei dannati 50 minuti che ti portano in un altro mondo,da dove puoi scappare,solo con un paracadute.

This summer and autumn, whenever I saw cheap stew bones at the lousy Price Chopper where I do my grocery shopping, I grabbed them and squirreled them away in my freezer. Now that it's December, I don't mind running my stove all day, so this afternoon I roasted them up, and tomorrow I'll make stock.
Followup -- the end yield was about 23 cups of stock, or about five and a half liters. Really great body to it: after refrigeration and final skimming, it was almost like aspic. Not much of a subject for another photograph, though, just a bunch of plastic containers of tan liquid. Might go one step further with a portion of the stock and make demi-glace, but until then it'll keep fine in the freezer.
