Sometimes things happen that turn everything completely upside down. One moment everything is fine and the next everything collapses.
One of our dogs and my long-time companion were diagnosed with cancer last week during a routine check-up. Unfortunately, it is so advanced that nothing more can be done. He's still doing quite well, but it's a question of time and it won't be very long now. We're probably only talking about weeks or, if things go well, a few months. I can't begin to describe how this diagnosis hit us last week and has had us firmly in its grip ever since. At the moment we are endeavouring to give him the best time of his life.
This photo was taken two days ago on one of our now really intensive walks.
Through the eye of a needle.
With the Covid-19 lockdown and only having limited time being allowed outside for exercise, I've decided to start a project 'Covid Lockdown Hometown Diary'.
One from last year. Can´t wait to see them spring again. Maybe then it´s time for some Bokeh again :) Dedicated to my wonderful wife which is sharing this hobby with me now. Looking forward to catch them with you, my dear :)

As you can see from the exif data the light wasn't great on the day I visited Gigrin. Very cloudy and overcast. Still the D7200 performed superbly and I managed to get quite a few shots of these beautiful birds I was very pleased with.
