I couldn't pass up the mini cactus glitter globes in my local primark home section... (anyone that knows me well will know I've been succulent and cacti mad since I was 14, and therefore can not help myself when it comes to cacti and succulent related stuff in general ><)

{Takochu Mukku} - I may have bought more alpine/succulents for my mini garden (so many pots now, but so worth it as they make beautiful grass-scapes when shooting miniatures~) this particular alpine plant is a Silene Acaulis Moss Campion
HBW everyone!
Just realized that today is Wednesday and I don't have a bokehful photo to upload so I decided to deviate from the HBW craze :D

I took this at the end of a long stroll through the bitterly cold blustery grey-ery of London. I was searching for something beautiful and vibrant to put me in a warmer more artistic mood, and was stepping under this branch, when i realised I could make my own colours with the coloured traffic lights against the blossom. I did several versions with the traffic lights at Green, Amber and Red and settled on this one. The image is straight out of camera with no post processing.

City plights
Troubles drowned with contents of bottles
Digbeth nights
Traffic bokeh
Birmingham lights

I love you
I despise you
Addiction to the bottle
A tragedy and deception
Nothing but trouble
The city’s medicine to urban depression
