An ancient item, source of light used in many regions of the world in the past (and from where a genie could eventually come out from), in a purplish monochrome.

It was really hard to keep this (unclear) oil lamp shape but if you observe well, some lines can be seen.

 

Item initially of golden color, which was kept by the monochrome setting so I simply had to increase the whites to make it brighter without loosing the gold.

Every day in the staircase I encounter a painting painted by a good friend. A bouquet of flowers, artistically painted in oil in the style of old masters. In the enlargement one can guess how elaborate and detailed the painter has gone to work. Layer by layer, the paint was applied with a brush. A colorful work of art that I always like to look at and marvel at.

 

Jeden Tag begegnet mir im Treppenhaus ein Gemälde, das ein guter Freund gemalt hat. Ein Blumenstrauß, kunstvoll und im Stil alter Meister in Öl gemalt. In der Vergrößerung kann man erahnen, wie aufwändig und detailliert der Maler zu Werke gegangen ist. Schicht auf Schicht wurde die Farbe mit dem Pinsel aufgetragen. Ein farbenfrohes Kunstwerk, das ich immer gerne betrachte und bestaune.
