Bobby is the mother, the bigger cat and kristal is the kitten.

You can see why they're called Red Bellied Woopeckers here with the red belly exposed.

I know this is different from my normal flickr work, but I want to keep expanding my boundaries to the point where I don't have any. For the next few weeks, I'm going to try to shoot as many different and distinct types of photography to see what I can do :)

I spotted Bobby from afar, walking down the street together with his friend. I waited for him with a huge grin, having no doubt I wanted him for the Project.

As it happens, Bobby and his friend were in a hurry, they had a train to catch. Nevertheless, Bobby agreed to a quick shot. He had just lighted a cigarette, and I asked him to include it in the shot. He obliged and then even gave me a cool pose while his friend reminded him to hurry up.

We had already said good-bye when I saw Bobby's ink – I couldn't help but ask him to pose showing off his ink. Bobby happily agreed, driving his friend near madness...

I grabbed one shot and off they went, but Bobby promised to get in touch with me.

Thank you, Bobby, for taking the time – I hope you did catch your train, though. As you know, I got two or three more photos, just send me a mail!

Wearing helmets, two bobbies stood on a corner in London while traffic -- both human and automotive -- swirled around them. At the top of the shot, behind the double-decker bus, is a sign (and possibly the marquee) for Alan Ayckbourne's comedy, Absurd Person Singular, which we intended to see but didn't.

Like most of the girls that live here, Bobby loves pink!

Bobby sock trees are dead lodgepole pines near some hydrothermal areas that look as if they are wearing bobby socks. The dead trees soak up the mineral-laden water. When the water evaporates, the minerals are left behind, turning the lower portion of the trees white. Fall turned the grasses a golden color, accentuating the scene. You have to admit that as far as intensity of expression goes he can best most top-models.

This is another old photo reworked a bit with photoshop, monochrome mixer and some dust effects.

This 3m tall statue is of Bobby Robson a local guy who famously managed the England team and later on managed Newcastle united, where this statue can be found outside the grounds of St.James park in Newcastle upon Tyne. He died from cancer in 2009 and this statue was erected in his memory in 2012

I spent most of last week staying with my friend Bev, who was looking after her friend's dogs while the family were away on holiday. Believe it or not, it's the first time in my life that I've ever stayed in a house with dogs, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It was fun! Bobby and his brother Billy were lively company, but very sweet. I miss seeing this little face looking at me over the breakfast table. In case you're wondering, Bobby is a Jackapoo (a Jack Russell / Poodle cross) and he's about a year old.

The first professional policemen, in England, known as 'Peelers' or 'Bobbies', were set up in London in 1829 by Robert Peel, the then Home Secretary, after 'The Metropolitan Police Act' of 1829. It was the start of a campaign to improve public law.

Sweet Bobby! Pippaandpom custom!

Trees that were growing in mineral-laden hot spring run-off next to the Fountain Paint Pot Nature trail in Yellowstone National Park.

The trees are now dead, but the minerals were absorbed partway up their trunks to turn them white. By the way, the naturalists call these "Bobby Socks". I didn't make it up.

We joined the Marines, right out of high school. Afterward, I came home. Bobby didn't, and I'll never forget that. Today I'll see the sun, and I'll think of you, my friend.

For my boy Bobby!

It's nice to see our talkative cockatoo in a habitat with plenty of window space! He'd been in a warmer location through the cold months.
