a fleeting moment at the retiro park—where a pigeon takes flight, carving its path against the moody sky. the feathers stretch wide, catching the light, each edge outlined in quiet strength. the blurred waters and distant monument dissolve into whispers of the background, letting the bird own the frame. here, in black and white, is motion frozen and yet alive. it’s a pause before the air carries it further, leaving only a memory in its wake.

It's no secret how much I appreciate Flickr as well as the Flickr community. I also love that Flickr allows us to 'collect' the images we 'fave'. I just scrolled through some of the recent ones I've faved and am blown away by some of the talent here at Flickr.

While moving through the countryside, I put my zoom out the window and shot the trees flying by me. (I will add at this point that I was NOT driving) I then added some colour in Lightroom by way of the gradient filter. I am not much of a Photoshop person.

Time's blur is a phenomenon that affects images and film of individuals, blurring out their faces. It represents how memories are modified by the passage of time, how things are remembered in a way that is different or changed from how they actually were.
