Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at looking Close on Friday is motion blur.

I must admit, motion blur is a difficult theme for me. I dont know why but I’m always struggling to find an interesting concept for this theme. I keep coming back to the classical «flipping pages » motion blur… and as you can see in my picture this time was no exception. I added a levitating heart because who could resist that ? I just hope you will like it my friends !!

Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! And see you soon !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!

Ich mag dieses Bild weil es zeigt, wie windig es hier neuerdings ist.

Wir haben viel Sonne, aber auch immer viel Wind dazu.

Das mag am Klimawandel liegen, ich weiß es nicht.

I like this picture because it shows how windy it is here lately.

We have a lot of sun, but also always a lot of wind.

That may be due to climate change, I don't know.

Smile on Saturday - Motion Blur

Shotten Craig from the cliff tops of Portknockie in Morayshire, Scotland.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Gaussian Blur. Is it a riddle? Is it a puzzle? I dunno, it looks like it's going right. HMMM!

Taken in the Meadows area of Edinburgh, Scotland, 2022.

Blurs rarely work, and this one didn't either. The head wasn't sharp. However, the image of the flight right before this one had a nice sharp head, but the wings didn't have the effect seen in this frame. All it took was a switcheroo (a term of art) of the head to fix the problem. I tried to diminish the effect of the busy background by desaturating it a bit and removing the brightness from the curved blade in front and under the duck. I normally would have passed on this image, but I'm enamored with the effect of the slow shutter speed (1/200) on the wings. I'll probably hate it by tomorrow.
