This week marks 23rd year anniversary since my family moved to Brooklyn 💓 First day in school in September put my head down & started crying. All I could understand was teacher’s greeting & selective words... No special tutors just countless books, dictionaries & absolutely amazing ESL teacher. Hope she’s well today. Fast-forward 6 months science teacher held my exam to speak to me after class. She asked if I cheated bc my grade was highest in class. And while I realize there are not guarantees in life & everything we do has 50/50 chance of success & failure sometimes it can be beneficial to return into the past. Not for nostalgic feelings but rather for memories of younger us & what made us fearless some decades ago

This photo took me forever to post, because I'm scared out of my mind. I don't like posting work I know might not be well-received, and it's especially hard to gamble and put yourself out there with a photograph that you love.
This is what I'm doing here.
I adore blur-on-purpose. I love it. I think it tells a story that sometimes, fully-focused and properly composed pictures can’t tell; it adds a layer of mystery to a simple capture. I love it, but I know a lot of people don’t. I did, however, figure that I have to be honest with myself and with my art, so here it is. I hope you like it, but if you don’t, it’s alright. I love it, and that’s enough.

she left this morning for her first day of her junior year. and she drove herself for the first time.
i could swear it wasn't so long ago that i was walking her to her first day of kindergarten.
I've noticed that when you really love something it's hard to explain why, you just do. Maybe I'll never be able to explain my attachment to this place...
Brake Lights nicely punctuate the city scene blurred with a longer shutter speed and some camera motion (ICM). The city becomes a grid of shapes rising upward - indistinct but retaining some identifiable patterns. Color and light bath the scene in rich hues that contrast warm and cool.

Don’t know what it is about this place but something about it makes me wanna get up to the top & scream at the top of my lungs “I love you” ❤️❤️❤️

Ironically it can take a few days to have conversations that matter & twenty years to realize they never happened
World Poetry Day was introduced on March 21, 1999 by UNESCO. It’s purpose was to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry. And I love this quote by Jack Kerouac. Poetry is honest. You can be yourself between the lines, and that what makes it beautiful. And nothing in life I appreciate more than honestly & strength to be honest !

I am trying to break your heart
But still I'd be lying if I said it wasn't easy
I am trying to break your heart
Disposable Dixie-cup drinking
I assassin down the avenue
I'm hiding out in the big city blinking
What was I thinking when I let go of you?
Loves you
I'm the man who loves you
It's been 22 years with ups & downs, but one thing I know for sure can't imagine living my life without #Brooklyn #NewYork ❤️ Very thankful to this country for giving me hopes & opportunities I would never have had... Ukraine is a birthplace but this is #home ❤️❤️❤️
This weekend, just right before the Broadway show, it really hit me that there’s something different about New York City Saturday night. Seeing the show on Saturday night is different from seeing it at night. Brunch is not the same as late-night (hopefully light) dinner. Everything feels romantic even when it’s not. It’s a different feeling. It’s like the fall where everything is not perfect, almost melancholy, yet it has that romantic feeling that only fall can have—same with NYC Saturday nights.

I wouldn’t be able to give a different title ... I wouldn’t know what to say. No other words can more precisely describe my feelings for fall especially in Italy, especially in Rome ... Miss this !!! ♥️♥️💛💛💛♥️♥️
IL VoLo concert in Barclays Center was amazing !!!! Out of this world !!! Half of the audience spoke Italian, the other half Russian. At some point I wished I had a plane ticket to Rome, and a train ticket to Napoli. Listening to people speaking Italian evoked many memories !! 😢😢😢
I think Italian language is the most beautiful (romantic) language in the world. And Italian music is the most beautiful music in the world ! ❤️ And that Italian temperament !!!! Love it !!!
Redwood Park
A multiple exposure doubles the beauty of the stately redwoods. Three colors dominate and contribute warmth and coolness creating a bit of energy. Nice depth hints at more and more trees. Strong verticals anchor the scene while motion dances a bit with abandon.
