I thought I'd sneak another slinky image in as a change from flowers although I do have a few dahlia pics lined up. I just can't help myself! ;)

#91 in my 100 x challenge - 100 Lensbaby images
An in camera double exposure of one of the dahlias in my garden. I can't remember what this one is called but unfortunately the bloom fell off the stem so I brought it inside to photograph.

I bought a couple of slinkies to have some fun with. This one is an in camera double exposure, both exposures are ICM.

These wallflowers in the walled garden at Felbrigg National Trust were muted colours but I held the Lensbaby orange quilted Omni in front of the lens.

Yet another dead tulip. This one for Macro Mondays - dangling. The tulip is dangling from a clip on my 'helping hand'. HMM

We had a very rainy journey today so I grabbed a just in case shot. Obviously things didn't improve, I hasten to add that I was the passenger.

Looking down the escalator through a slow shutter gives a surreal look to the elements. Multiple reflections join the magical dance of shapes and lines and colors. Dramatic lines lead my eye and whimsy takes it everywhere with a sense of wonder. The blues and golds add energy and help define the different patterns within the scene. It's symmetry in motion.

It's that time again when I remind everyone about the October Challenge. Just under a month until the fun begins.
The idea is to take a photo each day for the month of October and post it to the group. We welcome old members and new so why not take a look and put it in your diary. Link to group below:

Lines are bold. B&W simplifies. Elements are not confused by color. Repetion adds strength. Verticals intersect on different planes. Nature intrudes a bit - just enough. But it is her - she holds the eye. Humans always do.

Just to make a gentle point. My name is Patricia and I prefer it - for those of you who use my name please note I absolutely HATE 'Pat' - typing Patricia is a bit of a fingerful.......if you find typing an ordeal then just call me 'P' or Patty (if you are already using that) - I would much prefer it. Thank you so much. :-)
This time with Omni stretch glass and pink texture (my own) to even the colour out...and pink it up a bit, who doesn't love a bit of pink?

Day 13/365:
A busy day today so whilst in the car I played with the slow shutter app on my phone. I also experimented with my Omni prism refraction wand, not easy to do with the phone but I liked some of the results.
This is three slow shutter images blended together. I hadn't intended this to be my image for today. It was meant for a loop I take part in on Instagram but haven't managed anything else as I was having fun with a little superhero.
Yes, another dahlia but I am slightly obsessed with them! This one was in the walled garden at Blickling National Trust, Norfolk.

Love seating on these rocks... Love this place; Brooklyn, Brooklyn coffee, Brooklyn bagels, our shops... Silly little things, but they make me very happy
This is my glass dome filled with red and gold baubles and swathed with red shimmering organza. The dome was used in my photo a couple of days ago.
I popped the star drop in disc into Lensbaby double glass II added a couple of macro filters and deliberately blurred the image.
Anything goes for 2021 - Take me to church
A slight cheat with this one, taken in 2019 during our trip to Canada but edited this year...hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do when mojo is at an all time low and I'm so behind with the challenge!
This is the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. Edited to give the effect of movement. Original pic in comments.
Also for Sliders Sunday. HSS

Today's offering is a fusion of two ICM images of ornate railings at our local market and an ICM of flowers in my garden. All taken today with my iPhone 16 Pro Max using the slow shutter app.
ICM, intentional camera movement, adds a touch of magic to this nightly water dance. Complimentary colors add energy and the slight diagonal cant gives my eye a perfect pathway to the main attraction.

another wave of "atmospheric river" is headed for the Central Coast so this may have been my last chance to visit Fort Ord Dunes before I leave

The weather in New York City during July has changed since 1995; it isn't as hot as it used to be. Everything changes, even the climate, over a relatively short period. Change is the only constant. However, one thing remains unchanged: the incredible feeling one experiences during the sunset in July. ❤️💫❤️
Sticking with the blue theme, this ICM is of a blue bottle with a blue Lensbaby Omni film held in front of the lens.

ICM, intentional camera movement, sweeps sea and cliffs and textures and colors into a seamless tableau of mystical beauty. Light is sublime and knits the elements together in rich harmony. The motion leaves just enough detail to tell the story - just enough in focus to rest the eye.

She walks toward the painting through a world of time and motion. ICM, intentional camera movement, is used to convey the mood of the hall. Warm color permeate and let her stand out in the stark blackness of her attire. The yellow diamond points my eye into the image but it is her, and the art she approaches, that holds my eye fast.

Walk the Line
Geometry dominates. Rectangles collect colors to help define their existence. Pathways emerge. Light dances from human creations. Perspective is provided - just a bit by people passing through. ICM camouflages and lets imagination fill where altered reality hides specifics.

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?" Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play *goes on* and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?
N.H. Kleinbaum, Dead Poets Society
A human form captures the eye and holds it - it's in our nature to be aware of other beings. Dynamic textures and colors seemingly eminate from him - an energy spreading outward throughout the frame. Extreme contast hides most of reality. This shot is about mood and emotion - it's a story of a journey. It's interesting how very simple elements make an impact.

It is a bliss to realize that you are surrounded by love ! When you look around & think to yourself “I’m happy just being here” ♥️
