This Friday, August 29th, will be the big reveal for the "OVERLOOK"!
"OVERLOOK" is a multiblock color woodcut print, roughly 28" x 46", in progress here at Tugboat Printshop. A tall, dramatic & teeming landscape that unfolds from forests to fields to far-away mountains . Shown here is just a teeny tiny section of the top left corner of the block drawing.
This is a small detail of the top of the "OVERLOOK" key block. After the drawing is finished, the image will be carved in low relief for printing. This will be a color print, so 3-4 color blocks will also be hand-drawn and hand-carved to print along with the key.
We've had this big drawing going in the sidelines for almost 2 years & it's an understatement to say that we are excited to share it! Folks on our mailing list will be the 1st to see! www.tugboatprintshop.com
