While at the Head of The Cuyahoga regatta Saturday, got a visit from the Pride of Akron. It was on its way to Progressive field to see the red hot Indians play.

This was hovering over the Olympic Park yesterday. You can't get into the park itself without a ticket but I met some nice people and made the most of the afternoon.

As seen from Victory Park in Pasadena, California.

Last week world’s greatest zeppelin (some call it a blimp) flew over the city of Pijnacker and her surroundings. The zeppelin followed the N 470 an important road between Zoetermeer and Rotterdam. A great number of inhabitants of the area was invited to come along, 12 at a time. Photos were taken during the start at Rotterdam Airport.

After spending a few days cruising, everyone gets off the ship feeling like a (see the title!). Seen at Long Beach from the Coral Princess.

On a beautiful clear summer day. Flying over Seattle and Suburbs all this week for our Seafair festivities

I headed over to the Lorain County airport when I heard this was there a while back.

Carson, California, Near the junction of Interstates 110 and 405 in Carson is Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's blimp base on the West Coast of the US, home to the Spirit of Innovation that succeeded the Spirit of America in August of 2015. This ship will be replaced later in 2017 by the more modern Wingfoot 2.

A few miles from where we live lies the decommissioned Marine Corps Air Station Tustin (closed in 1999).

Easy to find, as it is home to two *massive* blimp hangars that were built during WWII.

I believe one hanger is being used for private commercial purposes now, and the other for storage.

1xp RAW shot taken as I was biking back home from the shopping center adjacent the hangars (The District).

I was driving down Highway 41 in Oshkosh, WI when I came across the Spirit Of Goodyear blimp. It was parked EAA Air Venture, the "worlds greatest aviation celebration". I've never seen one of these so up close. It sure is a neat thing to see.
