Blessing, eldest child of Norman and Weng Balino, at the luggage compartment of our minivan. This same compartment was crammed with luggage and three rambunctious boys. I tell you -- we were packed full!!!
Although logging was outlawed in 1987 there is much illegal logging. To prevent it we tied trees with monk blessed scarves. With a monks blessing, no one is inclined to cut that tree down. This is mine! Right in front of the waterfall. literally hundreds to thousands of trees have been blessed.
In the midst of the traffic and the chaos, SE8 found
time to gather together once more and celebrate our
Christmas party. It was really great seeing
everybody's faces light up. Once more, our little
"family", pulled itself together to enjoy a night of
food, fellowship, and fun. Faces we haven't seen in a
long time dropped by such as Earl and Rambu. Faces
that we've seen a lot were there as well. God bless
them.
As the year winds to a close, I'm forced to reflect on
my blessings for 2004. Among the many blessings that I
received this year I consider SE to be the biggest one
of them all.
Yes it's true. I couldn't have asked for a better gift
this 2004 than for SE8 and included in this package is
the entire SE community.
SE has provided me really good friends. People who
honestly care for one another. People who know that
the true measurement of fun is fellowship with one
another.
They say the measure of a man are his friends. I must
be a good man because I have really great friends!
Thank you SE!
