AMEN

Ok, so here’s my first attempt at using HDR in a church (St Pauls Cathedral in Melbourne’s CBD). This is a HUGE church, I couldn’t get all of the roof in even with the wide angle of the 10-22mm, so my first attempt at a vertorama was also required!!

Your thoughts??

Hit 'L' to view on large.

An abandoned small church in Europe. Unfortunately, our access point was sealed but luckily the caretaker was on site so we negotiated a price to get in, at least it meant no sneaking and having to look over our shoulders.

The Chocolate Milk Germany UE Tour. All win no fail and some epic locations with host, sunny weather, many miles travelled and much chocolate milk consumed.

Sacred Cottage, long forgotten, far away from the public gaze this little cottage rests off the beaten track in the Welsh countryside, time entombed in a decaying shell.

Never to forget what this flag stands for and for whom it flies.

Nothing other than Irving Berlin's "God Bless America" could ever express freedom better... The response to this now iconic song was immediate, massive, and widely enthusiastic. Americans raced to purchase the sheet music; program hosts played it repeatedly on the radio; and bands and singers belted it out at public performances.

There was even a movement to declare "God Bless America" the national anthem, replacing "The Star Spangled Banner," which had been so designated in 1931. Berlin demurred. Citing tradition and history, Berlin said in a letter to Dale Carnegie, "We’ve got a good national anthem. You can’t have two." In a generous act of patriotism, Berlin directed that all royalties from his song be distributed to the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, which continues to this day.

that brought you to me

Spring is in the air... and for some, in the nose, too!

The first day of 2016, I would just like to express how much joy, friendship, encouragement and support you have given me, and wish for your joy and happiness in return. Happy New Year!

I was lucky to spot a few Puffins during my last trip.

Unfortunately, they must have been digging through the mud just before I saw them because most of their colorful beaks are covered in dirt

I was actually going to start posting after my nursing duties had finished (and believe me, I make the WORST nurse), but I got sidetracked.

Mr.Killen introduced me to The Big Bang Theory and I ended up watching all episodes in the seven series back to back.

HELP!!!!! Save me from Dr.Sheldon Cooper!!!!!

Now I am having withdrawal symptoms and series 8 hasn't begun filming yet.

But I haven't stopped photographing because so far this Summer, it has been absolutely sensational and I have photographed so many sunrises I have lost count.

This was taken a couple of days ago on MY beach in Castlerock before the sun actually rose and I just love the intensity of the clouds on the horizon.

This morning I went over to PortRush (I have been alternating between Castlerock, PortStewart and PortRush so I get different scenery). I thought the sunrise two days ago was fantastic, but this morning's was spectacular.

Even had three dolphins putting on a show for me - whoooo hoooo!!!

Going to process my photos from this morning then I will try and do a catch up.

PS this one was shown on the BBC Northern Ireland Weather Report.
