An abandoned small church in Europe. Unfortunately, our access point was sealed but luckily the caretaker was on site so we negotiated a price to get in, at least it meant no sneaking and having to look over our shoulders.

When I cleaned out my craft room recently I found lots of great stuff I'd forgotten I had.
These papers are from a Webster's Pages Collection pack that I won I can't remember when. It's called Waiting for Santa and it was the perfect jumping off point for the Scramble today. These papers look so good with the black background, way to go with the theme, Chris!

The first day of 2016, I would just like to express how much joy, friendship, encouragement and support you have given me, and wish for your joy and happiness in return. Happy New Year!
(I have been very busy but today I will catch up with all of you, hope you're enjoying this 1st day of 2016!)
It was a very sad start of New Year’s for us after all. Our old girl, Angel, passed away here with us at home in New Orleans at 3:30 AM, on New Year's Day.
She has been failing and struggling. Blind and deaf- she has amazed us in her determination for living- never messing up in the house, always a good appetite and a happy spirit to tolerate and play with Roux, our youngest pup. She and Sidi were very close and Sidi was very protective of her- leading her out and back in the yard so often. Ken brought her into our lives the November after Jamie passed away in July. She was an angel birthday dog, and she has truly been an angel, a comfort, a friend, and a member of our family.
Our hearts are broken this first day of 2024. I did this sketch just last night, of all the girls sleeping on their big dog bed together here at Lagniappe.
I was lucky to spot a few Puffins during my last trip.
Unfortunately, they must have been digging through the mud just before I saw them because most of their colorful beaks are covered in dirt
Im sad to hear about the devestaion that happened today. My heart goes out to the people of Chile. God help the displaced, survivors and those who perished. May you find comfort in gods arms.

I was actually going to start posting after my nursing duties had finished (and believe me, I make the WORST nurse), but I got sidetracked.
Mr.Killen introduced me to The Big Bang Theory and I ended up watching all episodes in the seven series back to back.
HELP!!!!! Save me from Dr.Sheldon Cooper!!!!!
Now I am having withdrawal symptoms and series 8 hasn't begun filming yet.
But I haven't stopped photographing because so far this Summer, it has been absolutely sensational and I have photographed so many sunrises I have lost count.
This was taken a couple of days ago on MY beach in Castlerock before the sun actually rose and I just love the intensity of the clouds on the horizon.
This morning I went over to PortRush (I have been alternating between Castlerock, PortStewart and PortRush so I get different scenery). I thought the sunrise two days ago was fantastic, but this morning's was spectacular.
Even had three dolphins putting on a show for me - whoooo hoooo!!!
Going to process my photos from this morning then I will try and do a catch up.
