Acting Headshot!
The lighting used for this photo was a gift from my wonderful church of Faith Christian Community. I took their elder staff photos and in return, they gave me two large softboxes, a hair light, and a backdrop holder as a gift. They treat me so well. :) I wanted to cry when I heard of what they were doing for me. May God bless them all. :)
This flies at my house quite often. This morning as I put it out, my housemate and I said a prayer for the men and women who make it possible for me to proudly display it.
This one flew over the capital in DC in honor of my husband, a Marine.

"karuninchu mary maata... " is what I remember seeing this pic :-D. I do not know if she's Virgin Mary or somebody else, but the woman was so intensely gazing at the statue as though she's having a dialogue with the statue. There were many such scenes at the cathedral, but i guess i "missed the bus" by not making the best of the pictures from those scenes. A faster lens could have helped, may be!
