What I say is, there are at least two sides to the story so don't be so quick to blame Brad here. Or Dick. Yeah, Dick. Not Brad. That guy is definitely a Dick. I think that's Lee Remick in a cameo as the hoyden.

The second BBQ of the year at Norrby was a cold one. Three of the usual suspects attended, plus one cyclist with very good eyes and one lucky neighbour. Sausages, bacon, potato salad and a green salad was on the table. Plus beer, whisky, cognac and rum. It was a chilly affair, but with the help of a few blankets we almost made it to the sunset.

Not as scientific as I would like but I thought these would help test the Jupiter 9 85mm f2.0 lens. I set the min aperture to f22 and starting with f2.0 progressed through the scale trying to keep the camera steady. By the end of the month, I hope to have this technique refined. Although, the unsharp f2.0 could be blamed on unsteady hands, the primary blame lies in the lens, which is a little mushy at f2.0.

For those wondering about the subject, traffic on 280 in Birmingham, Alabama is quite unpleasant.

Dialogue: Ironically, exit polls indicate that 70% of black voters helped pass a gay marriage ban in California...

That’s it! Not one more word of this divide-and-conquer crap!

It’s bad enough our marriage is in freaking peril! I do NOT need to hear fishy media claims that it’s ALL black folks’ fault, when we’re just 10% of the voters in the damn state!

What about the Mormons who poured millions into gaybashing ad campaigns?

But haven’t you heard? There’s a gaping BLACK vs.GAY DIVIDE! An epic WAR for a steaming slice of the equal rights pie! Because those two groups DON’T OVERLAP AT ALL!

LGBT people of color are as figmental as the tooth fairy!

You’re so sarcastic, I just might marry you all over again.

The way things are going, you’ll probably have to.

It's a grey dark november day, I'm sitting looking out through my window and my little friends give me joy

A shabbily-dressed man peeing into a road-side heap of filth - Delhi in all its ugliness! Poverty must not be blamed for this repulsive, and quite usual, sight. Most of us Delhites simply do not care for the cleanliness once we step out of our homes. We lack respect for the city and we do not care for the well-being of our fellow citizens. Everybody, including the illiterate, is aware it is unhygienic, apart from being terribly unaesthetic, to urinate on public spaces. But we continue with the practice.

But is there a way out to prevent such degradation in public behavior? Few years back, an army officer in the city, in a violent outburst, cut off a man’s penis as he was “showering” the boundary wall of his bungalow. (The officer was later arrested.) There are more peaceful alternatives though. Many owners who have the misfortune of having their houses skirting the busy streets paint their outside walls with the images of popular Hindu Gods. It is a good trick. Nobody in God-fearing India compromises with the purity of the holy men and women!

Better still, there is a popular Hindi slogan seen on many Delhi walls: Dekho Gadha Moot Raha Hai - Look, a Donkey is peeing!

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,

Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,

And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;

If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,

And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Gotta blame this one on photoboothguy. Hopefully he won't sue me.

He mentioned fungus and I remebered that I have been wanting to hit some common agaricus bosphorus with pellets.

Although they seem dry, mushrooms have a high amount of water. I used to try and collect mushrooms locally, but its a bit too dry for good hunting.

On our backpack trip last month I found some Sullius group shrooms, a safe group for the most part. They were good fried over our little backpack stove with a little oil.

I like the way the stem pancaked in this picture.

Really, can you blame me.

Put the blame on Mame..."
